Founded in 1996 by architect Richard Skendzel, Architecture Technology, P.C. has maintained an office in Traverse City, Michigan since its inception and continues to serve its clients by listening to their wants/needs and translating each project’s individual program into a design for physical space.
Combining attention to the practical, social, technical, and aesthetic issues of architecture, the firm is dedicated to delivering excellent design and innovative technical solutions on each project that it undertakes. As the name of the firm implies, Architecture Technology approaches its work as an integration of art and science.
Richard A. Skendzel, Registered Architect
Richard Skendzel, founder and president of Architecture Technology has studied and practiced architecture for over 30 years. A native of Traverse City, Rick has worked for architecture firms in London, Chicago, Milwaukee, and Boston, and has an extensive background in both the arts and technical subjects.
